Can this be a hangout, please? I would gladly pay. Trying hard to figure out how Affordable Care will impact the Behavioral Health business, and I bet part of the answer will be here. Mike Logan
We’re looking into it as an option Michael. I’ll update this post if we’re able to do it.
As a dentist myself, I see fellow dentists and those in other areas of the health industry getting really heavily involved in on-line marketing. Huge spends. On the other hand I see the amount of consumer spend in dental has dropped by around 7% since 2007 in real terms. Maybe SEO is the way to promote these practices. PPC certainly is an option though I have noticed that local PPC (vocation/location style PPC) Varies dramatically in terms of competition. Everything from 1 cent a click to 80 cents a click. Some real unexploited markets and some that are jammed up with heavy hitting advertisers. Looking more closely a couple of them seem to use some of the biggest names in on-line advertising to push their brand.
Thanks for the comment, Jane. The techniques and tools we’ll be showing at this seminar are all in the free segment of search marketing. They only take an investment of time and commitment to use and get benefit from.
“Trying hard to figure out how Affordable Care will impact the Behavioral Health business ” It should help you. Since most mandates will be removed, you’ll find behavioral and mental health benefits more comprehensive with less copays and coinsurance.
However, if you don’t qualify for the federal tax subsidy, purchasing benefits outside of the Exchange may have to be considered to keep rates reasonable. But each situation is different. Ed
