Sustainability doesn’t start with buzzwords. It starts with choices that are conscious, consistent decisions building a better future. At our company, we don’t just talk about environmental responsibility. We embed it into our daily operations, partnerships, and culture.

A Remote-First Approach That Cuts Emissions

By prioritizing a remote-first workplace, we reduce our environmental footprint significantly. Our team doesn’t rely on daily commutes, which cuts down on fuel consumption and carbon emissions. This model not only saves time and resources but also eliminates one of the most energy-intensive parts of the modern workweek: the daily drive; and the stress that goes along with it.

The reduction in commuting translates to hundreds of pounds of carbon dioxide not being released into the atmosphere every year. For us, remote work isn’t just a productivity strategy; it’s an environmental one.

Going Beyond Carbon Offsetting Initiatives

Even digital work has a carbon cost. Laptops, servers, and home offices all contribute to global emissions, although in smaller amounts. We address this by partnering with Greenplaces where we purchase verified carbon offset credits. These credits support projects that reduce greenhouse gases, including renewable energy installations and reforestation efforts.

At the end of 2021, we reached carbon-neutral status. Since then, we’ve taken measurable steps to ensure our operations give back as much as they take. For us, this milestone is not a finish line but a new standard we maintain and improve upon. You can see more details about these initiatives on our sustainability page.

Every Client Plants a Tree

Business growth should align with growth in nature. That’s why we plant a 100 new trees for every new client we bring on board. It’s a tangible, regenerative step that ties our expansion to ecological restoration.  These trees are purchased via a partnership with the Eden Project.

This initiative strengthens reforestation projects and supports global carbon sequestration. Trees provide a lasting environmental benefit improving air quality, restoring biodiversity, and stabilizing local ecosystems.

Helping in our Community: Our Adopted Trail

We’ve adopted a trail near one of our Adopt-a-Trail Triangle locations, turning it into more than just a scenic spot it’s a shared responsibility. During our annual on-site gathering, we incorporate trail cleanups as part of our team-building efforts. Employees head out with gloves and bags, clearing trash and restoring the trail’s natural beauty. We also encourage local employees to head out to the trail whenever they can and contribute to keeping it clean.

One employee has taken this initiative even further. Committed to weekly cleanups, Adam Sumner has collected over 850 pounds of trash since we adopted the trail. His dedication exemplifies the ethos we strive to foster taking ownership of the spaces we care about and leading by example.

Working With Impact-Aligned Partners

We believe in using our purchasing power for good. That’s why we intentionally collaborate whenever possible with companies that prioritize ethical practices and social impact. Whether it’s eco-friendly suppliers or mission-driven tech partners, we aim to align ourselves with those who push for positive change.

This commitment influences every tier of our operation from logistics to client services ensuring our ecosystem of collaborators reflects our values.

Sustainability Is a Company-Wide Standard

Our sustainability efforts aren’t isolated initiatives. They reflect a broader philosophy: businesses should do more than generate revenue they should generate renewal. Every decision we make factors in long-term impact, not just short-term gains.
