Step 1 – Copy the script below exactly as it appears:
Alternative: While the script above works fine, you may prefer to use Google’s own bookmarklet script – thanks to +Ronnie Bincer and +Daniel Johansen on Google+ for pointing me to this:
Step 2 – Email or text the copied script to yourself, and copy it again on your iOS device. (I suggest copying it from a desktop/laptop browser and sending it to yourself because some mobile browsers don’t display the entire script above.)
Step 3 – Open any web page in Safari on your iOS device.
Step 4 – Tap the “Add or Share” icon at the bottom of the Safari screen:
Step 5 – Tap “Add Bookmark” and save the page as a Bookmark.
Step 6 – Back at the Safari page, tap the Bookmark icon:
Step 7 – Tap “Edit” at the bottom of the Bookmark window, and then tap the bookmark you saved in Step 5.
Step 8 – Change the name of the Bookmark to something like “Share to G+” and replace the entire URL in the second line with the script you copied in Step 1.
Tap “Done” until you’re back in Safari, and your new Share to G+ bookmarklet is ready to use!
How to Use the Share to Google Plus Safari Bookmarklet
To share any web page you’re browsing on your iOS device, just tap the Bookmark icon at the bottom of the Safari window (see Step 6 above). Then tap “Share to G+” (or whatever you named your bookmarklet).
A new Safari window will open with the familiar Google+ share window. Note that you should be logged in to the Google account linked to your Google+ account in Safari first.
(Hint: Let the entire share window load before trying to add a comment, otherwise you might find your keyboard disappearing.)
